Telegram Power Saver Mode Released

Telegram , one of the most popular messaging applications in the world , has released a new update with various improvements and new features for its users. One of the highlights of the update was a new Power Saver Mode that helps Android users manage the performance and battery life of the app on their smartphones. This feature will help users with a weak smartphone or someone dealing with battery issues.
Users will be able to use the Power Saver mode to tweak settings such as autoplay animations, effects and background updates. It will also be able to customize it to turn on automatically when the battery reaches a certain percentage. Power Saving Mode will be especially useful for low-end Android smartphones that might struggle with Telegram’s rich media and animations.
How To Turn On Telegram Power Saver?
According to the official blog post , the Power Saver option will be able to reduce CPU usage by up to 40 percent and RAM usage by up to 30 percent. As a result, Android device users will be able to get better performance and better battery life. You will be able to enable this option by going to Settings > Power Saver . Let’s also mention that you can turn off the feature from the same place.
Meanwhile, Telegram users could change the playback speed for videos, audio and video messages. Now you can have even more flexibility by holding down the 2x button to choose any speed between 0.2x–2.5x . To change the playback speed of the videos, tap the ‘Three Dots’ option, then tap Playback Speed and move the slider.
Alongside the Power Saver mode, Telegram has added new animated emoji, detailed playback speed options for voice messages and videos, reading time indicators for small groups, automatic sending of invite links for people joining the app, dynamic sticker pack ordering based on usage. In addition, translated bot descriptions in various languages , improved iOS folder support and more are also available in this update.
