Lexar announces world’s fastest CFexpress Type-A cards

Lexar CFexpress Type-A Gold series memory cards guarantee not to decrease the transfer speed below a certain level for photo and video uploads.

CFexpress type memory cards, which meet an important need especially in the photography and vlog industry, continue to develop. Lexar this week announced the world’s fastest CFexpress Type-A memory cards for professionals.

Lexar CFexpress Type-A Gold series

Introduced by Lexar, the Lexar CFexpress Type-A Gold memory card offers high capacity options as well as remarkable certifications. The read speed of the card reaches 900MB/s, and the write speed reaches 800MB/s. Optimization is also available, with a minimum write speed of 700MB/s.

On the other hand, with the Video Performance Grade 400 (VPG 400) certification, 400MB/s transfer speeds are guaranteed in video transfers. The 80GB option of the memory card is $200, while the 160GB option is $400. Lexar Professional CFexpress Type A/SD card reader, which communicates over USB 3.2 Gen 2, also comes with memory cards.
